Shane Donnelly

Co-Founder

Shane Donnelly, co-founder of the Cleveland Project, first came to Lakewood High in 1984-85 through the Cleveland-Belfast exchange, a life-changing experience. In 2018, he and Breda Dick launched the Cleveland Project to revive cross-community initiatives started by Emmet Chambers, Marty Chambers, and Mike Cleary in 1984. Shane lives in Lakewood, Ohio, with his wife Megan and their children, Caroline, Ronan, and Alison.

Danny Andrews

Board Member

Danny Andrews, a board member and supporter of the Cleveland Project, is a proud alumnus of St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio. He went on to Baldwin Wallace University, where he made a lasting impact on the football field, earning a place in the school's Hall of Fame as a standout running back. Danny is the owner and President of Olympic Forest Products.

Terry Joyce, business manager of Laborers Local 310 and president of the Cleveland Building Trades, is a dedicated leader in the labor community. As a board member and supporter of the Cleveland Project, he plays a vital role in fostering collaboration and strengthening connections that benefit the region.

Pete Carroll

Board Member

Pete Carroll, a Managing Director at Zelman & Associates, works with institutional investors across New York and the Midwest. A graduate of Cornell University with an MBA from Case Western Reserve, he is deeply committed to community initiatives. In addition to his involvement with the Cleveland Project, Pete serves on the Board of Trustees at Saint Martin de Porres High School in Cleveland.

Tom Fraser

Board Member

Tom Fraser, CEO of First Mutual Holding Company, brings leadership and community commitment to the Cleveland Project. A retired NCAA Men’s Basketball Official, he now serves as the Freshman Head Coach at St. Ignatius High School. Tom also chairs the Barton Senior Center, a nonprofit organization, and sits on the board of the American Bankers Association, making an impact in both finance and community service.

Ryan Berger

Board Member, Cleveland Project Scholar

Ryan Berger is a Research Analyst at Edgewater Research in Cleveland and a proud graduate of St. Ignatius and John Carroll, where he excelled as a basketball standout. In 2023-2024, he made history as the first Cleveland Project post-graduate scholar at Queen’s University, furthering his academic and professional growth while strengthening the ties between Cleveland and Belfast.
