CONTRIBUTE TO ONE OF THESE IMPORTANT INITIATIVES

OR DONATE TO OUR GENERAL FUND

SUPPORT OUR CORE MISSION

You’ll be helping us fulfill our core mission as we continue to support the more than 6,000 kids currently enrolled in our program Your support ensures that kids as young as seven receive expert coaching in their schools and are able to participate in the end-of-session blitzes (tournaments) with other schools. Our program also involves summer clinics which, in 2023, were hosted by Eric Flannery, head coach of St. Edward High School and the United States U20 team.

—This Initiative is Led By Breda Dick

CONTRIBUTE TO THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND

You’ll be supporting our scholarship fund as we expand the number of United States students attending Queens University in Belfast. Our program allows them to earn a high quality education whilst they participate in our program as coaches, leaders, mentors and administrators. This is an excellent career path for talented, self-motivated graduates to pursue their dream of playing basketball while inspiring the next generation of players.

—This Initiative is Led By Ryan Berger

GET MORE BASKETBALLS ON THE STREET

You’ll be getting more basketballs in the hands of more kids as we strive to build more awareness and increase the enjoyment of basketball in Northern Ireland. Through grass roots efforts, new talent will be nurtured and discovered by teaching the Belfast Dozen skill development, created by the legendary Rus Bradburd, and encouraging positive sportsmanship and character through team building experiences at practice and in competition.

—This Initiative is Led By Eric Flannery

SUPPORT THE PHOENIX BASKETBALL CLUB

You’ll be creating future opportunities for our young enthusiasts to continue playing basketball beyond their school program as they participate at the club level. Phoenix are a growing basketball club from Lisburn, just outside of Belfast, comprised of members from both sides of the community. Having recently won the All Ireland U18 final, this club is now moving on to compete in the U20 championship a the national level. We're so proud of these guys!

DONATE TO OUR CAPITAL FUND

You’ll be adding to the scope of and quality of resources available to The Cleveland Project as we bring the sport of basketball to an ever greater number of Northern Ireland’s youth. We are working with institutions, local councils and community leaders to help renovate and build outdoor facilities, making the sport more available to all members of the community, continuously throughout the year.
